The "cloaked eagle". Rare-ish among counterfeits. The graduated font on PEACE is special too. Despite that distinction the seller is generous to the buyer and offers no returns.
The seller is in Jackson Heights NY.....Car 54 where are you.

Definitely has a few anomalous elements. Unfortunately, it looks somewhat better than the real thing...

I'd say that is definitely one "ill eagle."

On the rim by the word United it looks to have some spotted missing metal sections like it was cast.

There is a special place for counterfeiters and those who sell them knowingly.
You know the old saying about counterfeiters..

That's pretty bad... I like how many of his "coins" he displays on a scale which shows they are far underweight!

All counterfeits are gone except for this underweight 1888 Morgan. The seller list the weight at 21.9 grams as you know the weight should be around 26.73 grams. 354200926843

Where to begin? Okay. The dimples created with a punch to replicate feathers, particularly the legs, immediately caught my attention. Wrong lettering style/fitment/placement. No left wing feather detail. Broken and wrong tail feathers. Wrong head/beak design. And on and on. Oh, and probably aluminum.

Look at how bold the mintmark is! Most definitely counterfeit!

It's not only the bird, the lettering is bad also.

I really appreciate the fake coin posts. As an amateur collector it is one of my biggest fears especially from ebay. -Greg
