I am interested in any dark side coin bearing the image of a Knight in armor. Coins bearing the image of a knight with a sword would even be better. Or both? [:p] OldDan: do you do medieval? Here's an interesting coin, issued by knights, for knights, with a picture of a knight on it! Crusader Principality of Antioch, base silver denier. Attributed to Prince Bohemund IV (1205-1232 AD). In case it's hard to make out, the image in the centre is a knight (presumably the prince) facing left, wearing chain armour and one of those helmets with the bridgepiece over the nose. The legend is, I believe, a very crudely rendered +BOHMVNDVS. I don't think they're too hard to find. I have never given it much thought, but medieval coins aren't on my list anywhere. I have just about decided on British Commonwealth gold Sovereigns and Half-Sovereigns. It is a thaler (silver dollar-sized coin) of Saxony, dated 1564. The obverse shows a portrait of the duke carrying a sword.
