I have decided to commit most of my time to the Darkside.
And named myself the 'DarkSide Guru'
If anyone needs help in coins could they post here or in the Darkside Forum.
I will try my best to find out what coin you need help in.

Thanks!

O.K. Sir Knight! Here is your first quest.

I am interested in any dark side coin bearing the image of a Knight in armor. Coins bearing the image of a knight with a sword would even be better. Hope this isn't too much of a quest for the first outing.

Just to clarify, TKC: Are you offering to track down information on unknown coins, or offering to sleuth out the hard-to-find coins themselves?

Or both? [:p]

OldDan: do you do medieval? Here's an interesting coin, issued by knights, for knights, with a picture of a knight on it!

Crusader Principality of Antioch, base silver denier. Attributed to Prince Bohemund IV (1205-1232 AD).

In case it's hard to make out, the image in the centre is a knight (presumably the prince) facing left, wearing chain armour and one of those helmets with the bridgepiece over the nose. The legend is, I believe, a very crudely rendered +BOHMVNDVS. I don't think they're too hard to find.

Actually...I do medieval.
Well a bit on it.
I love the design!

I do both and if anyone needs quick help on coins they need detailed info on, I'm happy to help.

Thank you, and I haven't seen this particular piece before. Very interesting to say the least.
I have never given it much thought, but medieval coins aren't on my list anywhere. I have just about decided on British Commonwealth gold Sovereigns and Half-Sovereigns. Sure like that Saint George fighting the dragon on the reverse.

Here is another interesting coin along these lines. It is a thaler (silver dollar-sized coin) of Saxony, dated 1564. The obverse shows a portrait of the duke carrying a sword.

I also have one similar to the crusader coin that Sap posted, and I probably have others lurking in my collection.
