Kind of a low eye appeal going on with this one, what with some areas turning to brown while others shiny, the tape mark on the obverse, and the scratches likely from the machine trying to eject the coin.

@,tropicalbats, I love it really nice appeal to me. I actually have several that to most would appear to have been hit by a mack truck/damaged. Though I still love mine it gives them character in my old school eyes.

Have you considered the obverse toning might be end roll toning from a folded paper roll. Tape usually protects the mint red and allows the rest of the coin to tone.
