I have found a ton of what individuals call the extra Cactus on the Reverse of the Arizona Quarter. I guess one could call this one a misplaced cactus or Missing the JEM initials. What do you all think?

Nice Finds. Some 2008 Arizona quarters have an extra cactus leaf — a really cool error caused by a die break. Fun finds with some added value for those who wish to take time to search them out. https://coins.thefuntimesguide.com/...arter-error/

In Arizona, the cacti here don't have 'leaves'. The mighty Saguaro has arms - which don't start growing until they are about 100 years old, smaller cacti like the 'prickly pear' have pads, and others like the 'Jumping Cholla' have segmented stems which come off real easy when you touch them. But all of them have lots and lots of very sharp pointy needles.

Sometimes it is a die chip issue.
