Kinda looks like flat steps to me...so I would say Mechanical Doubling (MD).

Yep, that's the DDO! Excellent find, this is one I've been wanting. Very nice extra thickness DDO.

@Kopper Ken not sure where you're seeing flat steps... it's very clearly distorted all over IGWT with extra thickness. Classic single squeeze DDO.

@John1 it's DDO-001, and I would say it's quite a major variety as single squeeze DDOs go.

I wouldn't call this a major DDO. Just a middle example of a DDO on the motto. (I had to look twice to see what was doubled)
2022-P-Salt-River-Bay-DDO?
This one would be a stronger example of hub doubling on that area. The Devices are more distorted, than this coin. All caused by the same thing. Movement during the die creation process with the single squeeze hub.
2022-P-Salt-River-Bay-DDO?
Note how the over inflated tube shows distortion on some areas? This is what is seen on the hub doubling on the single squeeze dies that are now being used on most of the dies today. u]So all coins struck with the hub will show the same DDO. If it was from another die, then the distortion would be missing.[/u]

CoopHome: What is die distortion on the single squeeze dies? Slightest movement of the hub during die creation

This is not DD001. Not even close. 001 is a very noticeable DD. I don't think this coin is .
