Hello,
I am new to coin collecting and found this coin (and several just like it) going through a bank roll of 1995 cents. It looks like a long die chip just below the ear. I tried looking at Cuds on coins and variety vista and anywhere else I could online to see if anyone could verify what I am seeing since I found 8 of these. AAny help would be greatly appreciated.

This looks more like a Linear Plating Bubble. The copper plating has lifted slightly from the zinc core. I also see a few other areas on you coin that appear to be plating problems (just in front of Lincoln's nose.)

They look very different from the plating blisters on the rest of this coin. I attached pics from the other coins that have the same issue. these are 8 different coins with the same marks / raised area under the ear. Could it be a die gouge?

Too much glare to tell if it is 003. Looks like a die gouge if not a trail bubble. Might need coop on this.

John, I'm looking behind the ear for the doubling. Also if this is showing up on 8 coins, I'll go for a die gouge not plating bubbles.

Interesting!

I can see now that it's a slightly different angle than the possible plating problem lines and with the exact same shape and location on each coin, I'm in the Die Gouge boat as well.

Great images!

Now I'm watching to see if this IS a doubled ear.

It could be a die dent? With 8 of these found, that rules out damage to the coin. (If all 8 are looking exactly the same?) The affected area is level with the fields, and often die clashes affect that area. But this looks like a dropped die onto that area of this die. This is not a doubled die as it looks nothing like a hub design. This could be erased by a die polishing later on. (Appreciate the comment of finding more than one) So it is a die event. Even though the dies are hardened, they can still damage each other if dropped on each other.
