After reading what everyone wrote it seems the knowledge I had hoped to pick up on here can also be just as misleading . I'm just curious what caused it more than value . I might be wrong (probably am ) but I believe I would have a hard time selling a dime for more than 10c no matter how it looked

first coin - extreme damage. it looks like it was stuck in a machine (same for the second coin as well)

If you want to know more, nothing wrong with, but you have to show the other side of the coin, the Reverse.

to the CCF Nothing misleading, coin was damaged. Probably sanded down. Anything that happens after the strike is damage.
