$50 1969A Series Star Note With Black Mark On Corner

SteveInTampa Pillar of the Community United States 4637 Posts	Posted 08/25/2022 3:38 pm The black marks typically seen on $20, $50, and $100 notes is attributed to ATM machines. The way it was explained to me is that people loading the machine will mark the edge of the stack every 100 notes to easily evaluate how much is already loaded in the machine. Your note's overall condition is mid-grade at best and the writing on the back and large stain on the upper edge just added to its problems.
