Personally, I do not consider it fancy. It's interesting, but nothing more.

Yes. Lucky 8's are sold, not just listed, regularly on ebay even with 5 of a kind, 6 of a kind to some general collectors out there. However, for true currency collectors, A solid serial number is one where every digit is the same, like 88888888. Statistically, only one in every 11 million notes is a solid and they can be worth $500 or more so collectors also collect 7 of a kind/7 in a row and these are the ones most collectors will tell you are fancy serial numbers to look for. The rest are essentially cool serial numbers/interesting serial numbers and it should be noted these may or may not have added value to some, but not all, collectors and rarely will get interest from dealers as well.
