Found this where the old barn was, not in very good condition but it is over 270 yrs old and cool find from a history perspective. I will get to what I found in the walls in another thread later

Even more interesting than you may know. Kegs of 1749 halfpennies and farthings were sent to Massachusetts from Britain on the ship Mermaid. This was to repay the colonists for their help in the war against France. Your coin is quite likely from this source!
