I can see that there's a floating roof. But it said that it was a possible double die but I don't really see it. Does anybody else see it?

I'm not sure it would count as a floating roof. I can see a possible line still connecting the right side. It may be a die abrasion, but I can't tell for sure.

Let's see what the real experts think.

Just a die event. The polishing of the die weakens the sub devices, like the initials, 'FG', roof edges (because of die clashing) and the statue as well. Not really a premium for the coin, as it happens on all coin struck with that die, until it is retired. So these are thought of as a premium, but they are just die polishing.

pretty nice floating roof - due to an over polished die, but nice none-the-less. 2x2 worthy for your personal collection.
Too bad about all the scratches though.

Is nice to have in own collection, but not value for this. No one recognize like an error or variety, except the blushing sellers on ebay, Esty.

I would not classify this as a floating roof, as you can see a line attachment on the right side. Plus, as mentioned, the over polished true variety really has little or no value, sorry. It's the scratches on the obverse that really ruin this coin. Was someone trying to clean it?
