Has anyone's coins been damaged by PVC pages despite coins being in mylar holders? It's alittle early for me tell if PVC pages are damaging my coins through the mylar. While browsing the coin supply market, there are more PVC pages available than mylar holders and flips. Polypropylene pages are usually harder to find, usually lacking thumb holes, and tend to be expensive. I just can't find a straight answer on whether or not PVC pages still damage coins through mylar.
Thanks!

If improperly stored, PVC will migrate onto coins/currency, etc.

If you have coins in a 2 by 2 with a mylar, the PVC won't migrate onto to a coin, same with currency in Mylar sleeves.

To be safe, I have my low cost coins in an album which has PVC pages, but all are protected in a 2 by 2. (BUT these are low cost coins, actually stuff I picked up from my travels).

My expensive Raw coins are not near PVC.

I would avoid PVC holders of any kind. The safe alternatives are no more expensive.

The plasticizers in PVC generally don't go all the way through mylar film, but they can go partway - which makes the mylar film of a 2x2 sticky, making it unpleasant to look at and hold, and can cause the 2x2 to stick in the album page, so the film tears and breaks when you try to take the 2x2 out again.

So it might take a very long time to ruin the coins, but it probably will ruin the 2x2s much faster.

Perhaps 20 or so years ago, some of my bronze coins in Mylar 2x2's did in fact suffer from plasticizer gassing from PVC pages.
Indian Quarter Anna red and red brown coins darkened considerably, over a period varying from 5 to 10 years, and this toning (which annoyed me), is not reversible.

To save the rest of my collection, it was a no brainer to replace about 100 PVC album pages with non PVC archival quality equivalents.

No further toning deterioration of any coins in the collection since

I'm going to play it safe so I purchased BCW archival pages.
