I'm surprised that ebay is letting this listing stand after I reported it. In addition to the coin not matching up with pics of actual chain cents on PCGS the 3 items the seller has sold this year have either been reported as fake by the buyer or in one case is no longer viewable which is odd since it sold in the past month. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1754095407...9SR6LCwKLkYAIf I'm wrong and someone believes this is indeed an authentic chain cent please let me know. In particular, I was focusing on how chunky the date was on the listing as opposed to the PCGS pics. |

It's kind of crazy that someone bought what I guess is another one of these from him in the past month for $1700. I don't understand why ebay lumps in a seller's purchases with his sales when displaying a feedback rating. As a buyer I'm only concerned with their past sales. I know that I can filter to just look at past sales feedback but optically it's still misleading and could fool a person new to ebay who sees this person's 90+% rating and thinks it's ok. |
