This looks close to Wexler's # 006.
VarietyVista #001 to me looks completely different.
Coppercoins #001 vertical bar looks more (vertical?) and more south.
But thats what I'm seeing on these three sites.

What do you think is north of the MM?

Do you think this is a match to any of the three sites?
Maybe I'll have better luck with the D MM.

Note that all the areas you are looking at is where the die flow lines are. This is just die flow on these fields. If it were a phantom 'D' the shape would be raised, not just flow lines. On an earlier die state, these would not be seen. It it were a RPM. it would be visible on earlier die states. Thus why the 1980-D-S coin that was debunked years later:

The earlier examples (same mintmark locations) didn't have this look on them. Thus they debunked it several years back.

Thanks John and Coop.
Thank you Coop for pointing out the flow lines.
On the inside curve of the D looks like the same flow lines.
What does that mean? Sorry to ask.
Also when does the flow lines occur?

Die flow lines are from the die striking a lot of coins. Keep in mind this same striking event happens over and over on each strike. The planchet is smaller pre-strike. So the strike enlarges the planchet with the design and new width controlled by the collar. Thus all the metal moves from the planchet size to a coin is less than a second. This repeated die wear cause these flow lines on the dies. Always in the same direction, strike after strike. with out lubrication. So this creates stress wear on the fields of the die. The fields are the outside edge of the die. So these flow lines are direction movement of the metal to a new location. What do they look like?

Each time a die is polished, these flow lines are removed, and adding die scratches. These flatten in a short time on the open fields and the beginning of new flow lines start over again. Each time the die is polished, the fields are reduced, thus making the devices shorter and narrowed/thinner.

Thus these die flow lines/polishing/aging of the die progesses as the die is striking more coins. Thus the die aging process causes these flow lines. Hope this helps?

Thanks coop.
As a senior. I guess I'll just tell people the ( new) meaning of what I have.
The new " I have flow lines" will make it not so hurtful for my feelings. ( As if I really care )
Maybe they'll put that in Wiki new wording section.
