Have a few CBHs I'm submitting for opinions. Sorry for any weirdness in photos - the backgrounds got removed while trying to reduce file size - none of these are damaged on the rim.

Looking for:

Grade
Overton variety if you know
Will it straight grade?

Thanks in advance!

I'm at VF-details (cleaned). Around the eagle's head specifically, I think that I see hairline scratches indicative of a cleaning.

This coin has a poor strike, which I have seen for particular varieties in 1818. This is the 1818 O-113 R-3, with an interesting die crack from Star 7 through the headband. It most likely will straight grade, although there is an old cleaning. I give this coin a net VF-25 factoring the even wear across all surfaces and the old cleaning.
Suffering from bust half fever.

I'm also at VF details on this one. I've certainly seen coins with cleanings like this one in straight holders too. If straight grade I would be at VF-25.

VF-25 and the old cleaning won't "details" it. Market acceptable.

I'd say VF-25. Close call, but probably a market acceptable straight grade for the past cleaning.

Thank you all. This will help greatly in finalizing which are worthy for certification.
