This was in a box of foreign coins at a garage sale.

Nice pick up, especially from a garage sale.

Decades ago, I though it an opportunity to randomly collect
World bronze coins in VF and better condition, of the 19th and earlier centuries, from junk boxes at lcs's and coin shows.
My quest is still current, but they are much harder to come across these days at a reasonably low price.
This part of my collection numbers around 300 pieces.

I will have to check my collection to see if I have something similar.

The guy featured on the obverse had the huge Monument erected in his name, and is an obvious point of navigation for all tourists who visit Rome.

Thank you for the Numista site!
Now I should be able to figure out the rest...but I'll be back if I have other questions!
Thank you!
