That is called split plating. When the strike it too strong, it can split the plating. (you will see the exposed zinc on those areas) This is not a plus for the coin, as when oxygen affects the zinc, then it starts to rot. So the coin's count down clock has already been started on this coin. In time, the zinc will breakdown.
