The outside rim is thinner all the way around and rim is scratched. Obverse has multiple scratches.

If the check-out chics or a Coinstar will accept it !
There is a small percent possibility that neither will.
Therefore, I value this piece at about nineteen Cents.

Not a mint error. It is a damaged coin most likely intentional. Wrap it in a roll of quarters and turn it in at your bank.,

High degree of post strike damage--intentional, or maybe a victim of being stuck between some unforgiving surfaces in an industrial setting.
