A little help needed. There's a die crack runs the full circumference of the reverse .Hard to see in the picture but obvious at the 7 o clock position. I looked at the 1899 VAM and didn't find mention . Does this have a VAM? Do significant die cracks improve the value ?
Thanks

Actually all Morgan dollars should have a corresponding VAM ID number for it. Usually die cracks are not what makes a VAM a VAM, unless the crack has some sort of die break with it. Die cracks are like a coins fingerprint to help identify the die pair. There are 3 different mints which struck 1899s, yours is New Orleans (O) which is common.
