I try to post coins that demonstrate errors or varieties in ways that show the coins well and give folks a chance to see what the real deal looks like. Plus a little about how this or that happened at times, but mostly I feel that you can't find what you don't know about, so just seeing more images of interesting coins helps out. A Cud is basically a coin that was struck with a broken die. In this case, the die was broken near the rim at the 6 o'clock position. The piece of the die that broke off would correspond in size to the missing area on the struck coin. Value? All depends on type of coin, size of the Cud and collector appeal.
