One of the larger offsets I've seen on a mis-aligned die coin. The coin also appears to have a tilted partial collar but there is rather a bit of damage to the rims so don't really want to call it that as it's not really clear one way or the other.

I bid on these when I see them. I've yet to win one. I saw a Lincoln slightly more dramatic than this sell for over $100

A rather nice example. I noticed use of the term "misaligned dies", phrasing often seen on grading service slabs. Really, it should be "misaligned die", as only one die is misaligned. Use of the term "misaligned dies" is only justified when both dies are misaligned (dual or bifacial misalignment).

Thanks folks! And Mike, I am in agreement but with a caveat. In this case it is knowable that just one die is out of alignment, so "misaligned die" is accurate. But when associating the alignment of two things, generally one is talking about them in relationship to each other. As such "misaligned dies" should also be correct, just with less specificity, since the dies do not line up with each other.

Gotta agree with bats on this point, fine as it may be.
