Either way, it is not a premium for this coin. Heading towards 60K in a while. Just went past 59.5K recently. Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 09/28/2022 1:40 pm I think it's an over polished die as Dearborn suggested. I've seen 2 others recently (1994 and 1995) with details of the ear, neck and nose flat spotted from die abrasion along with the area at the top of the ponytail.
