What would the raised edge be defined as? It isn't damage, I don't want to incorrectly label it as a Cud if it isn't one. I researched for a while to see if there was anything similar to compare and found nothing.

Thanks for the input!I thought it was a rim Cud just wanted to verify. T usually find them ( Cuds) where they cover past the rim further on the obverse or reverse side.

Rim Cuds:
1976-D-Bicentennial-Washington-Quarter-Question
Note the simulated broken damaged gutter area. Thus that area will be taller because of the new void on the gutter, taller on the coin on the affected area.

CoopHome: How do I know I have a Rim Cud? the area with the a broken gutter will show taller on the rim, thus higher on that area
