1977 Quarter No Mint Mark And Discoloration

Gumbydecay New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 09/28/2022 6:35 pm New to this forum and new to coins. I see there is no mint mark. In this case, is it possible it wore off. Also, the discoloration, is it from circulation, or from an issue with the clad or metal. What is the best way to establish value until I get acclimated in this community. Cujohn Pillar of the Community United States 7174 Posts	Posted 09/28/2022 6:43 pm to the CCF A coin with no mintmark means it was minted in Philadelphia. They did not have a P on them until later on. The color is from circulation and environmental damage. AS far as value .25. Stick around do some searching on this site, there is a lot of information here. Report this Post to the Staff
