Hello,
I have not found any known errors of this type but was looking for any input. 1988 D penny. Area of interest is on the reverse by the FG initials, looks like a 1.? Thanks for any input!

Not an error. Your CENT just has plating bubbles, very common on zincoins.

plating bubbles can take on any shape. Take a toothpick and see if it pops.

Might be a bubble or hard debris, either way it is a plating issue not an error. Your full coin photos are too dark.

Debris: (Dust under the plating if it is solid) If an air bubble, they will flatten with a toothpick as already mentioned.
