I am nearing the end of re-housing my Aust, Penny collection into more suitable folders, and I spotted two consecutive
Perth Mint pennies with minor die clashes. This one is the 1955 Y. (and no, it wasn't struck with the more scarce Perth obverse die.

The obverse die has left a mark over the 1 and 9 of the date. This came from the nape of the neck.

The reverse die has left two marks under QEII's chin. These have come from the front paw.

The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.
