Hello everyone. My uncle passed and my cousin brought me his change jar to search through, around 400.00 of pennies. Last night I ran across a 1988 double ear penny, or to me looks like one. Asking for help in whether or not it is. Thanks to all in advance.

I think you've got it, I'm no pro but I've looked for 1 for a long time and have the points memorized. Always good to double check across all 3 sites. Wexlers, Variety Vista & Copper Coins.

The lighting from directly overhead is creating glare and making it hard to tell what is actually going on here. I don't think it is a doubled ear, but then again hard to tell.

Note the ears are the same size.

Note this doubled ear.
Side by side of normal and the DDO-003, 1DO-010, WDDO-009

Note the enlarged area on the ear?
