Some were saying maybe early-mid 2023 or longer, that it could take months for the King to sit for artists and for coin designs to go through an approval process. Well it seems the King and mint were more prepared. I just noticed The Royal Mint released pics of 2022 coins showing King Charles III on memorial coins for the Queen. Release date Oct. 3.
