Color is due to exposure to unknown environmental/chemical conditions.

Coated with something. (Rifle Bluing?) You can see the highest spots showing the wearing off of the color. Just a normal altered coin.

COOP was not far from the answer. The riffle blue contain Teflon. This coin was exposed to Teflon which can produce this color on Cu.
