I've seen none listed so it is probably some type of doubling but under my loupe it appears like a D on top of another D. I'm seeing flow lines (think that is what they are called) so this is an old die. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Thanks.
Just extreme die wear and The coin wrapper damage. ( DDD ddidn't exist then) Seems like they are seen on the 1998/99 time period. (Not sure of the exact dates on these, but the listing so far on the 1999 dimes)
