This it is UN coin. Could reach MS. Not in high grade due to the Observe strike.

yes I find all my coins from circulation. is it worth anything because I was reading about the 1983 quarters that are sought after right now.

Nice! It's probably worth a few bucks, but it only starts getting good in unc condition and really something to look at in the higher ms range.

the 83P and D have a little value attached to them. I dont think that collectors are clamoring to get them. I agree that it is worth maybe $3-4 retail but its better than a quarter and a 3-400% profit which is better than a sharp stick in the eye.

It's worth holding onto. I'd stick it in a 2x2 and save it.

Good test - take it to your local coin shop and see if they'll offer more than 25 cents for it. Bet not.
