I don't see any wear on this coin, beautiful Walker. I think this would grade MS-64.
Rest in Peace

Holy cow, what a gorgeous Walker. The fields are amazing. The only problem I see is, what few marks there are, all appear front and center, right down the vertical center of the coin.

MS66 all day except for the location of the marks, maybe MS66 anyways but I think it'll slab at MS65.

The strike is a little weak in the center of the obverse and reverse but I hope it goes 65 because of the clean fields and lack of marks. We will know soon...

I see signs of "double struck" on obv liberty face and I (In) motto
also the globe of the sun has a halo ring around it..
any comments?

the fields are showing flow lines and the coin looks exceptional!
(just some minor contact on obv left forearm and front of dress areas)

best of luck with TPG!

if you were just grading the fields, I would be inclined to go as high as a 67, but the hairlines on the details (and there are only a few of those) would bring it down to a 65. should get a PQ designation, though. Super coin!

I think any doubling that you are seeing is just an artifact of the lighting angle

The mark on the face of the sun. Is that there in reality? Almost looks like a die crack.

Beautiful coin.

My favourite US one.

Oh, that's not a scratch on the sun? Cool...

I predict a 65.
