I found this penny and it seems to have tons of markings all over it. But it's broken in several places and I'm not sure if it's real. Please help!

It is real, just been badly mangled and also has. Zinc rot.
Doubt it is even worth 1 cent know as you would probably
have a hard time getting anyone to accept it in that condition.

Agree with Jimmy D. Yes, that (and worse) can happen to coins. Post-strike damage of a very harsh nature.

Absolutely anything can happen to a penny. Might have been in a plain crash, who knows.
