So This is a new find in my Roll of Nickels from the bank, A 1941 with what looks like an S over a D on the reverse! Unfortunately the nickel shows A lot of wear so I searched the internet to find information. Did not find anything so I thought there might be a Nickel expert out there. I included two shots to show the mint mark because the detail is not good and included 4 detail shots of the obverse and reverse to show wear plus the full obverse/reverse pics. Let me know your thoughts and regards!

In fact do not exist this think. @ month ago I show here the document of the resource essay studying this claims. I know some was even certify before like this but in fact it is impossible to be because in that period of the time the date was put individually on the Hub in order to produce the necessary production Dies. I will look again for the official document and maybe will be add here in database.

What was certify before as one MM over the other was proved to be illegal action and not Mint error.

If you are thinking that the light color to the west is a mm, it's not it's just a lighter color than the rest of the coin.

if that's a D it's a weak one, meaning it's probably not a mint mark

if you magnify nickel mint marks on the reverse you'll find a lot of anomalies, many of which are probably due to bouncing of the mint mark punch

Secondary mintmarks can become fuzzy and indistinct in a similar way to the anomaly that is west of the OP's mintmark. This is seen primarily on later die states and can be tied back to an identifiable early die state. The OP's coin is a earlier die state and we're this a Secondary MM to the west it would be more distinct.
Anomaly, it is but can't be attributed as a Secondary mintmark.
