i think it makes AU50. personally I would keep it and I would not slab it. there really is no reason to unless you are looking to sell it. consider the costs to slab it. minimum $69 membership to PCGS. $22 fee to grade plus shipping both ways. doesn't make sense. at XF45 the coin is about $160 at AU50 maybe $220. flying eagles will continue to increase of the years

The color looks too pale and washed-out, especially in the first set of photos. The dark spots and stains in crevices and around date and legend are pretty good indicators that a cleaning attempt was made. The fields ended up basically dirt-free but foreign material remained lodged in the less-accessible areas. At least, that's my opinion.

i think it was just the lighting in the first set of photos was washing out the surfaces
