panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18687 Posts	Posted 10/13/2022 11:05 am i think it makes AU50. personally I would keep it and I would not slab it. there really is no reason to unless you are looking to sell it. consider the costs to slab it. minimum $69 membership to PCGS. $22 fee to grade plus shipping both ways. doesn't make sense. at XF45 the coin is about $160 at AU50 maybe $220. flying eagles will continue to increase of the years Report this Post to the Staff

The dark spots and stains in crevices and around date and legend are pretty good indicators that a cleaning attempt was made. The fields ended up basically dirt-free but foreign material remained lodged in the less-accessible areas. At least, that's my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
