This note has a "small" hole in the middle. Questions:

1) Is it worth trying to have it professionally restored?
2) Since it is in a PMG holder, if restored would PMG cross check the S/N before grading, or does it matter? Would it be wiser to send to PCGS after a restoration?

Currently in PMG 20 Net holder.

Even restored it will still be, in all likelihood, a "20 Net" grade.

I wouldn't sink any money into a $300-$400 note. I had a Florida National valued at $5,000 restored and it cost approximately 10% of the note's value for the service.

I'm fairly certain both grading companies are getting pretty good at spotting repairs. If I was to go the restoration route, I would most likely send it PCGS for a second opinion.
