I cant make out wether this is a 1884-O VAM-13 or a VAM-14 I need a little help. I am leaning towards the VAM-14 just because it looks more like the picture in the book and I can see a faint line on the inside of the "O" along with the line up top which would make it a VAM-14. Any Help would be appreciated

Thank You! I am just finding them all over the place here lol. If some of them were actually worth anything it would be better but was happy to find them in a collection I didnt know that had them. I dont know if I should submit them or not because as long as I know what they are thats all that matters I guess and its not going to bring the price of them up or anything. Just something I have to decide in the future I guess, but what would any of you do? just leave them like they are with maybe a note on them saying what vam# they are or resumbit them to be attributed?

If any of the VAM's you find are Hot 50 or Top 100, then I would send them in and get them attributed. For most, I'd get Coin World holders and type out nice labels that show the VAM.

yeah no goodies like that so far but I will just do what you said and just attribute them myself on a card thanks for the advise. there are 2 of the ones I found in old green holders and I was going to send them into NGC anyway to get crossed over so I pay to get them attributed while they are crossing them just because they were being sent in anyway

Or you could send them here and you can get you VAM attributed by a board member of the Society of Silver Dollar Collectors SSDC will attribute you VAM and holder it for you.

Thanks for posting that link. That is a better idea than holdering and labeling them.

I have a couple of VAMSlabs, and will eventually be sending most of my 1921's to him for the service. There's nobody in the business any better at VAM attribution, and the product is extremely professional.
