I know when I first started here it seemed like I would get 10 responces within a hour and now I wait days and nobody ever responds to any of my posts anymore, just wondering if everyone has moved to greener pastures somewhere else and if so where did they go? I have some valid questions I thought but no one seems to want to even respond to aknowledge that there is even a post anymore. But ohwell I guess I will go back to google and try to find another forum the same way I found this one
Revised: I guess just having my questions on the vam-16 on here since 3/1/06 and only realy getting help from one person that clearly ststed he wasnt sure of what he was saying (but tried to help anyway, and I appreciate it) I seemed to have people that knew something about the coins at first and I answered their questions to only never hear from them again just got me a little inpatient and frustrated. If you look at the actual post on the vam-16 question the last 18 posts were me talking back and forth with rujam just making sure mine wasnt a vam-20 like his. And from 3/7/06 to 3/12/06 is just me answering my own questions. as I said I probably made this post in haste and didnt mean to offend anyone I was just getting a little bit frustrated that no one would ever answer my posts but all the rest were being answered by people that realy acted like they knew what they were talking about. I am sorry and please accept my opology on this matter, but if you would rather I not post anything more on this forum I will understand and move on. But I guess I was just having a bad day and just made this post in haste without actually giving people time to post a responce. Sorry again, Bryan Edited by Bryan1315 03/14/2006 04:35 am

I don't understand what you're talking about. There's only 3 unanswered posts on the entire site since yesterday and only 4 in the last 48 hours. One of them is yours that was made at 2:48 AM this morning. People work during the day, at least give them a chance to get home from work.

Bryan, please show me a thread that you started that didn't get a response other than the one at 2:48AM this morning.
There isn't any. Show me one and you will have my sincere apologies.

It's interesting, I was about to complain of the amount of messages posted when I'm not here (which usually is not more than 30 hours) and you say people have abandoned the forum. Just a little patience

Click on your own name ,, click find all non archived posts by Bryan,, there is only one unanswered post made by you, concerning a S/S Mint mark,,
Variety and errors are not the most active forum here, there are a few of us that have an interest in them, and we try and answer all posts made there, sometimes it takes a little time,,thats all, By the way, I work a late swing shift,Iam gone from home 2pm until perhaps 1 AM ,, I check in when I get home, but sometimes I'm a bit tired to answer every post that was made in the 11 hours that I'm working,,
Sorry !!!

Bryan, I don't think anyone would even think of you not posting anymore, things happen, and this is a very friendly forum

Bryan, everyone has a bad day now and then. I would certainly hope that would stay with us and keep posting. For what it's worth, when it comes to VAM questions, I need to do research. I do not collect them and rarely attribute them prior to sale unless they're one of the (Hot 50 or Top 100) and any help that I have given in the past has been after taking the time to look it up. I simply haven't had the time to do that recently (and may not for a while yet). This certainly shouldn't be taken as a slight to anyone; it's simply a lack of time issue that I'll probably be having until we find our house and move.

VAMs often are difficult to attribute even with exceptionally LARGE photos and takes soemtimes hours of looking through the VAM Encyclopedia and other attribution guides. Here are a few good links t do some research on if you haven't got them already. The https://www.Ashmore.com website has recent updates to that supplement recent attribution guides and the original VAM Encyclopedia. At Ashmore you'll find text attributions and close to two-thousand photos of recent VAMs. http://www.ashmore.com/vamupdate/index.htmAlso helpful if Rob Joyce's Rare Coins website that has VAM help and his Fun with 1921D Morgan dollar links. http://www.rjrc.com/vams/1921_d_vams.htmThere are other great places to look up info as well but I have to go for now.
