Please reply here if you are willing to help me figure out markers for a number of different 1952D cent repunched mintmarks. There are a few of them that are very difficult to discern with limited marker information and no good photos.

What I need are ATTRIBUTED examples of 1952D repunched mintmarks in AU or better condition. By attributed, I mean they have to have been examined by either James Wiles or John Bordner.

Let me know if you have anything that would help.

Thanks!

If I had them, I'd send them. My stuff is all raw....and I attribute them myself. I think I am one of the few variety people who has not started my own numbering system:-)

Let's see...WORDDO-1972-0001-101.001-1A

Yeah, That would work:-)

Anyway, I'd help if I could.

Bill

Well, part of the problem is that there is no information out there for people to attribute 1952D RPMs themselves. I am working on changing that, but at present there is nothing reliable in print. There are so many different very similar 1952D RPMs out there, it's impossible to use the RPM book to attribute them. So I was asking for any verified attributed examples I could use to create marker identification so I could eventually end up with a set of photos for people to work from.
