I appreciate the help! As I stated in my heading, I have 8 to choose from but I don't want to waste my vouchers. This coin is fresh mint copper colored from roll. It's just a shiny new penny. I don't know if that helps or hurts

Collectors can guess but nobody has the same opinion on grading coins even with professional third party grading services. Likely a 65-66 Red but not worth paying for grading services to find out. Put it back into its holder and keep it.

interesting note. the weakness in the area of the bottom steps looks almost identical to the 66+ comparison coin I posted in your previous post. it may be die related.

i think the head on this one is weaker than your first one. I dont think it would pull the elusive 67 because of this. I'm at MS66RD on this one

here's the 66+ I posted to compare that area

I truly was hoping for a 66 or at least satisfied. Obviously 66+ would be better. I am going to post one with full steps.

I think the large mark below United will hold it to MS-63RD.

Second look, weak high points I missed. The temple, cheek and beard appear slightly flattened. The ear is pretty weak too, this could hurt the eye appeal in hand.

Min 65

I'd like you to try a couple shots with indirect light. Move your light forward until you seen no coin surface glare on your camera screen and shoot it.

Nice. Is that a extra bar under the L of liberty? If so looking at that and the date it looks like DDO-002 in my opinion.

The photos are a bit dark and and contrasty. Given what's posted, I'd say MS64+ to MS65.
