I may be incorrect but this merits more research possibly for you:
Your photos convey that light is reflecting off of devices and the rim creating a more saturated color around the devices relative to the device itself, this "shadowing" of light around the device creates an illusion of doubling when converted to pixels. The digital photography has its limits for macrophotography. Your pictures are working but the light needs dampening. Make sure you white balance your camera and also ensure the RBG curves align.
