@cole, first welcome to CCF. Second, by "off" do you mean that the last two digits are slightly thicker due to circulation flattening? Or do you mean that the rim has worn down and started to merge with the zero? Or something else? Thx for clarifying your question.

Also always show a complete photo of both sides of your coin when
asking a question. This can sometimes help with the diagnosis.

Are you talking about the spacing of the digits and how 19 appears far from 40? If so, I think it's an optical illusion caused by the dark toning on both sides and then none in between.
