I have a subscription with the mint for the Presidential Proofs from the U.S. mint. Has anybody received their set yet. I have called the mint several times and they keep telling me that they still do not have a ship date for them. I am trying to deside if I should buy a set at my local coin shop or just wait for the mint.

i just get the annual silver and clad proof set and the president dollars are in that set.. I end up with 2 sets that way

Still waiting on my 2009 pres proof to come in. Ordered on the 10 and still have yet to receive!!? Have called and they said should be shipping soon.

I only order the Proof Sets of these because I don't want to break up my full year Proof Sets or Silver Proof Sets to have it...... Once the series ends, I'll "crack" each individual Presidential dollar Proof Set of each year and put them into a nice album.....I just don't want to "rob" from the nice yearly proof sets and Silver proof sets that they also come in, to accomplish this. Is that what everyone else is doing in this thread ? |

Right now I despise the US mint. I ordered my sets of pres. proof sets the second they became available. Called today and they said it is going to be a another 2-3 weeks!!!!

I ordered mine, and they were received in about one week.
I was happy with the service, and I like the appearance of the coins.

I sent my 2 sets back.
There was a scuff on one and a black spot on another. On the same coin in both containers. Don't know if it was in the plastic or on the coin, but I don't care I want perfect from the mint.
But the Lincoln Commemorative looks nice.
Maybe I'll see them some time later this year.
