ttkoo Pillar of the Community Australia 2523 Posts	Posted 11/05/2022 7:37 pm Clipped planchets normally show an anomaly on the opposite point on the coin. Yours has the clip under the date. There is a visible flattening above the central mast of the ship. This is known as a "blakesley effect". Some unscrupulous individuals will clip the coin post mint, and the lack of Blakesley effect is a sure giveaway. And agreed, most collectors of GB coins don't put much weight on errors such as this.
