I wanted to start getting EVERY Commem. EACH year (starting a few years ago) while continuing to pursue past Commem's at the same time.....but, financially, I may have to be a bit more picky and choosy these days because of other non-coin related matters that are more important right now !!... My order for Braille Dollar was placed on March 26 and....probably would be ship after April 30. I got no email from the mint, the only information which I have that my coin is in stock and reserve, so I'm patiently waiting. I placed my order for Lincoln Dollar on March 9 and it was shipped on April 20, hopefully I would get it next week. Report this Post to the Staff
Morgans Dad Pillar of the Community United States 5616 Posts	Posted 04/25/2009 10:27 pm I also think this is a very good idea for a Commemorative coin, I did not think that I should wait, to order this coin when I placed my UNC and Proof Sets, to save a few dollars. I have to place these orders, but had a feeling "don't wait", so ordered this coin last week and checked and the site states it will ship on 4-30-09, again I too love a nice Commemorative and this one actually, like some others, is truly a great idea, good luck to all, Mike...PS: Been collecting Commemoratives, since the 1st 1892 coin, just do not have them all, but this is a beautiful addition... MtnCoinMan Valued Member United States 462 Posts	Posted 04/29/2009 2:46 pm Morgan'sDad, I am looking at the "Master Packing Slip" and it does not have the date I ordered the coin on it. My Order Number was 31461603, and it was shipped on April 17, 2009. So compare your Order Number to this Order Number to see when I ordered it? I would post a picture, but every picture I take either reflects back the flash or is too dark. I don't have any of the newer cameras, most of mine are 5 years old or older. I have posted scans of coins, but they are not very good either. I can tell you that the coin is very unique, especially with the Braille Writing. Report this Post to the Staff

However, it will be difficult to find humor here though from early experiences trying to change my avatar. Dry, humorless it seems is the rules of the forum "Family friendly" site and all.
