I found this rpm yesterday, and also noticed what apeared to be a dent on the 9. I thought it may have been a dent on the planchet prior to the strike, but it has also been suggested that it could have been a lamination peel, or a dropped lettter. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Mike

Nice find, the dent on the 9 looks to me to be a "struck through" a piece of scrap metal.

Looks like a RPM (repunched mint mark) 1960D-1MM-028 is as close as I can get.

Can't tell exactly which RPM it is, but it's not 028.

The 'dent' is a struck through, as others have already mentioned.
