Yesterday I was checking my change and noticed a 2009 quarter. This is the first one that I have seen. How long have they been out?

I found a 2008 Alaska P a few weeks back.......and all we get around here are "D's"......it takes months or years for the "P's" to start showing up around here usually......I was quite surprised indeed !

I finally was able to get some rolls from my local bank. The bank had just got them in today.

I got my first DC Quarters from the Denver Mint on Jan. 30th.
(and more since)

At lunch in an uptown Denver restaurant today, I didn't have any bills smaller than $20, so I tipped the waitress with a roll of DC Quarters.
(I had just been to the Denver Mint to get more Dollar and Quarter coins, on my way to the restaurant)
