@sil, I think you are correct about the attribution on this RPM. I'm not so sure on the other aspects in your accompanying threads.

I agree with Spence , this is rpm-001. I checked my stage C example and I don't see any doubling on the reverse. The obverse dose have doubling but it's the master die doubling that is prevalent for the year.

Your mintmark is not showing the typical MD, that is seen on the V.V example.
