I wonder if anyone remembers the bench grinder coin I showed here somewhere in earlier posts, well so far I've found 1 and seen 2 of these coins selling on ebay.

I managed too weigh the supposed bench grinder coin it weighed at 2.79 grams - 2.80 grams I think it's 0.04 underweight.

A close up of the ebay coin is interesting. The rim appears to be stamped over the gouges in places. Also, where the fully formed rim tapers off into the gouged area, it shows an interesting transition.
I'm not so sure now regarding it being a grinder job, though if it is PMD it certainly wasn't a grinder used.

Yes you maybe right ttkoo, l'd say it was done by a factory machine problem is where.
Also I think someone else here on forum said they had seen one thats how I got the name bench grinder coin.but I will go with factory machine that's done this job.

There is a $1 coin too out there wandering in the machines I did have it but I banked it because it Was classed as a bench grinder coin.

That one is very rare too machineman looks like another power tool job called the ""ORBITAL SANDER""= $2000

Least favourite you mean machineman although those 2 coins look like a bench grinder job.my fav is a double struck obverse an reverse with the alien 5 cent is blown to proportion all hype over a minor die clash.
