I can take better pics if needed but thought this was just post mint damage and wanted a 2nd opinion. So I took them with my phone first.
Thanks in advance!
Mitch

Definitely not an "S" mintmark.

The location on the 1909-S VDB is in 4 locations on the dies that year.

The 1909-S V.D.B. has the dots in different locations on the reverse of the coin:

Knowing these tips will help you get the real deal when you buy the real 1909-S V.D.B. Some fakes will not show, what the real deal should look like. The Added 'S' will not have the correct V.D.B. bot locations. The Shape of the 'S' is also important. If something doesn't look correct, pass. Why pay a premium for not getting real deal.

CoopHome: 1909-S V.D.B. cent. How to know if it is the real deal, or not? a lot of fakes out there, so be sure before the purchase. questionables should be left with the seller. knowing the above information will help.
Rest in Peace
